Time of day to film
10:00 - We found this time not very good at filming, we wanted people to be more awake and enthusiastic for our filming. So if we film at a later time we will most probably get better clips as the actors will probably be more cooperative and also act better later on in the day. Also when two of us went to check on the setting at this time in the morning we found that there was a lot of dog walkers, having dogs barking in our filming would ruin our clips and make them un useable.
12:00 - We started to film by this time, it was much better then filming at a earlier time due to it being more lighter and also warmer so all of us was getting less irritated by the cold. It was also a lot easier for all of us to meet at the location due to transport being a issue on some days. This also gave us 4 hours of filming which was plenty of time to get all our clips, also since we filmed on a few days if we didnt finish, we could go back the week after and films the shots that we missed.
2:00 - This was the perfect time to start filming, it was cloudy on all of the days so the brightness was perfect for us to film in. The conditions also favoured us, even though most of the days were wet, we never filmed whilst it was raining. We couldn't of used clips from while it was raining as it would create a strong continuity error where transitions go from a scene where its raining to where the rain has stopped.
4:00 - This is the latest we could film at, after this time the sun starts to go down changing the lighting which would create a continuity error. But we carried on until this time as there were a lot less noisy dog walkers and groups of kids disturbing our filming.
5:00 - A this time due to us filming in November it is almost already pitch black. This means it impossible to get good clips as the lighting will be getting in our way, also as we were filming on a weekend no one would want to stay out that long filming anyway.

Lighting
On the main day of filming the sky was cloudy and it had been raining, although we were not enjoying the conditions it created a great lighting to film in. As we are filming in a forest we wanted the lighting to be low key to represent the danger that could be created like the scenario that are main leads find them selves in. We want the time in the film to be coming up to sunset, so its starting to get darker and the audience realize that soon the pair are going to be lost in the middle of a forest.
There are a couple of ways we can get the lighting exactly how we want it. First of which was to film it during the dark, As we were filming during the day time it was partly light, the fact that we were filming in a forest did help us as the trees did intercept a lot of the light. But it isn't dark enough for how we want it to end up being. Are second choice is to use a slight colour correction on our movie. Is makes it look more dark and later then it actually is, This means we don't have to film in the pitch dark, even if we did choose to film in the evening, the clips would come out bad quality and would not of picked up much of what we were filming. Both of these shots were shot just after 1PM. While the shot on the left had no effects, the shot on the right had effects which made it appear to be at dusk.
