Casting decisions and why?
We considered Harrison Curtis for the male lead, we didn't choose him due to his size and stature. Also in comparison due to his potential partner we found him to be unsuitable for the role, he is too tall for the role at 6ft 4 inches if we had taller female lead then he would of been in contention.(W.T)
With the creation of the back story, we decided to cast Harrison as the killer as he has very menacing hands. (NL)

We came to the conclusion that George Hall was was right for the part as he came across with the right attitude for the character and his scruffy exterior gave the impression of woodland explorer/camper. we first paired him up with Alice Cunningham and went out to start filming to see how they would do, but after closer analysis of the characters we felt Alice wasn't right for the part.
In the end we chose Emily Poole as we felt they had better chemistry and therefore could put on a more convincing performance. we also felt Emily more expressive attitude would be fitting for the role. (W.T)
Also at first we over looked the fact that Emily took drama for GCSE and is also currently taking this for A-level. This gives her good experience in filming and we believe that this will give us a more convincing story when we come to film and edit our opening title sequence (H.C)

Others we considered for apperance
For the male lead we considered Nathan Laidlow as we thought he resembled the famous actor Tom Cruise, we felt he would be suitable as if he looked like a great actor he would fit nicely in the role and make the sequence look more professional.
We also considered Nathan Evans for the male lead as he looked like Robert De Niro and we felt that if he looked like a good actor he may share some of the on screen charm that De Niro exhumes and therefore improve our opening title sequence to a better quality.
We considered Alice for the female lead as we felt she looked like Sandra Bullock, we felt that Nicole was quite a dominant female and wanted to reflect this through our character in our Opening title sequence so by having a person who looked dominant and strong minded we thought that by putting them in a role which required them to be domernat and strong minded would work in our favour. On further analysis we found that she was unsuitable due to her lack of chemistry with her female counterpart.
We considered Jack for our killer as he looked like child star Macaulay Culkin we considered him as first we were thinking of going with a more revealed killer with the idea of child like innocence going evil.
